“The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest.”
My husband and I have been married since September 2008 and we have four amazing children, three girls and a boy, though not in that order. I absolutely love being a mother and while I never planned to have four children, I certainly wouldn’t change it. They are my everything and I strive to be the best parent I can possibly be.
In real life I work 40 hours a week as a Senior Customer Service Representative for a large education company. When I’m not working I’m either mothering my four children, spending quality time with my husband, or knitting, sewing or dyeing yarn.
I love being creative. I sew, quilt, crochet, and knit. Most of what I make is made for my children, family members, or friends.
I enjoy: Knitting. Reading. Writing. Sewing. Crocheting. Scrapbooking. Cardmaking. Blogging. Cadbury Creme Eggs. Web Design. CSS. Being a Mother. Being a Friend. Talking on the Phone. Reading Blogs.
I am: Mother. Sister. Friend. Cousin. Daughter. Wife. Niece. Aunt. Former Girl Scout Leader. Former School Library Volunteer.
Music I Love: The Beatles. John Lennon. Eminem. Macklemore. Daughtry. Billy Ray Cyrus. Jon Bon Jovi. Apocalyptica. Three Days Grace. Lady Gaga. Okay… I like everything. Oldies included.
We currently reside in Western Massachusetts, where I was born and raised. No matter where life takes me, I will always come home.
